According to this survey, 76 percent of online purchases from automotive e-commerce websites are made using desktop devices, with 23 percent of purchases coming from mobiles and less than one percent coming from tablets. This is in contrast to the results of this survey with regards to online traffic to automotive e-commerce websites, which found that the majority of traffic comes from mobile devices.
