NSNSD CONUS sALR Light Pollution Model 2024

This raster dataset provides a simplified model of light pollution across the continental U.S. in units of all-sky average artificial to natural light ratios for the year 2024. The model is generated using the 2024 annual cloud-free composite of VIIRS day/night band satellite imagery (Version 2.2) produced by the Earth Observation Group. The modeling process is described in Duriscoe et al. 2018 (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jqsrt.2018.04.028).
