The Modern Danish Handwriting dataset is a collection of over 200 pages of transcribed and proofread handwritten text in Danish. These samples were created from the ePAROLE dataset by volunteers at the Danish National Archives and participants at the Historiske Dage festival. The dataset is used for training Handwritten Text Recognition of modern Danish handwriting and can also be used as training data for baseline detection and polygon extraction models. It includes fields for images, document IDs, sequence numbers, and page information.
