we examined crystal mush processes of a fossil mafic intrusion in South China through a combination of detailed field work, microstructure, and mineral geochemical analysis. We found externally-derived low-T melt flow (LTM; 600~650 °C) as an efficient mechanism to dissolve and redistribute Fe, Ti, and potentially other critical metal elements within crystal mush, thereby driving mineralization.
