资源简介:
Quality of life of elderly Turkish migrants in The Netherlands is often perceived as lower than that of elderly without a migration background. In order to develop initiatives to improve quality of life for Turkish migrants, more understanding is needed of what Turkish migrants consider important aspects of aging well. For this exploratory research project, data were collected among middle-aged and older Turkish-born people residing in the Netherlands about what they perceive as important for ageing well. Data were collected among people who were born in Turkey, living in the Netherlands, and at least 40 years old. 27 participants meeting these criteria were recruited through the personal networks of the researchers, and through word-of-mouth referrals. Data collection took place in 2021 and 2022.
The following data, code and documentation are available here: - Quantitative dataset in .dta and .csv format - Codebook - Replication code for the graph presented in Cayci & Van den Broek (2022)
This study was assessed and approved by the Research Ethics Review Committee of the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam (Reference: 21-037).
Reference: Çayci, E., & Van den Broek, T.
