This dataset contains data from hospitalized children (≤12 years old) with laboratory-confirmed influenza or COVID-19 at Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar Seremban (Malaysia) between May 1, 2022, and May 1, 2023. The dataset includes demographic information, medical comorbidities, clinical and laboratory findings, and clinical outcomes. It was collected as part of a retrospective study to compare disease presentation and outcomes between pediatric patients with influenza and COVID-19.
