NPg Site Utilisation - Forecasted

This dataset contains information on NPg's distribution substation sites, including their name, customer numbers, transformer size, max demand seen last year, utilisation, location and which local authority they fall within. Information on max demand and utilisation has been forecasted to 2050. The dataset can be used to check how much capacity is available on our substations, which allows users to understand network availability when investigating where to site new connections to the grid, such as new electric vehicle (EV) charge points.A guide to EV installations with NPg can be found in the export tab of this dataset.All sites that serve 5 or fewer customers have been redacted from this list.Update Frequency : Annual
