资源简介:
Our research hypothesized significant gender-based differences in Bangladeshi students' knowledge of emergency response and crisis management in the southwest coastal areas. Data was collected through surveys and interviews with a stratified random sample of secondary school students, examining their understanding of environmental risks and disaster preparedness. The findings revealed that male students had higher levels of knowledge in emergency response and crisis management compared to female students, indicating a notable gender gap. This suggests a need for targeted educational interventions to bridge this gap and enhance disaster education for female students, which could improve overall community resilience. The study underscores the importance of equitable access to information and resources in disaster risk management education.
