Benthic foraminifera in maerl beds of the Ria de Vigo

This sampling event dataset contains information of benthic foraminifera identifications obtained from samples collected from two different locations in maerls beds of the r?a de Vigo (NW Spain). The sampling strategy allow to distinguish between rose bengal stained and unstained benthic foraminifera which were analyzed attending to different size fractions (1000-500, 500-250, 250-125 and 63-125 micrometers). A total of 2090 individuals were picked, identified mainly to species level and counted. The dataset contains 287 occurrences records.
