This layer group describes multibeam echosounder data collected on RV Investigator voyage IN2016_V04 titled "Influence of temperature and nutrient supply on the biogeochemical function and diversity of ocean microbes". The voyage took place between August 31 and September 22, 2016, departing from Sydney (NSW) and arriving in Brisbane (QLD).
The purpose of this voyage was to to resolve how changes in seawater temperature and nutrient concentrations, linked to shifting oceanographic circulation in eastern Australia, influences the diversity of microbial communities and the key biogeochemical transformations (C, N, P, Si, Fe and S) they mediate.
This dataset is published with the permission of CSIRO. Not to be used for navigational purposes.
The dataset contains bathymetry grids of 10m to 210m resolution of Eastern Australia produced from the processed EM122 and EM710 bathymetry data.
