Dataset of "The Critical Role of Permeability Heterogeneity on Hyporheic Exchange and Dissolved Oxygen Dynamics at the Sediment-Water Interface"

This dataset contains the source code and raw data needed to reproduce the results of the study titled “The Critical Role of Permeability Heterogeneity on Hyporheic Exchange and Dissolved Oxygen Dynamics at the Sediment‑Water Interface”. The work uses large‑eddy simulation (LES) to investigate how patches of coarse sediment on a riverbed affect water exchange between the river and the underlying sediment, as well as the transport of dissolved oxygen (DO) across the sediment‑water interface.
