Annual maps of C4 and C3 herbaceous crops and non-crop grasses in the contiguous U.S.

We constructed C₄ and C₃ herbaceous crops and non-crop grasses across the contiguous U.S. from 2000 to 2019. The zip file includes four sub-files and one map of grid cell area. Four sub-files are C₃ crop layers, C₄ crop layers, C₃ non-crop grass layers, and C₄ non-crop grass layers. In the later two files, MMT and MMAXT represent the two different crossover temperature models that were used to predict the spatial distribution of C₄ or C₃ non-crop grasses. In the zip file, all data layers are in TIF format. The unit for all is km² grid^-1.
