To identify transcriptional targets of the MAB-5/Hox transcription factor in Q neuroblasts in C. elegans, Q cells were sorted by FACS from wild-type, mab-5 loss-of-function mutants, and mab-5 gain-of-function mutants. Sorted Q cell populations were then subject to RNA seq.
