Dataset of Carnivora families occurrence records in the Mid-North Ecotone, Brazil

This dataset contains georeferenced occurrence records of Carnivora families compiled for the Mid-North Ecotone of Brazil. The records were obtained from long-term field surveys, institutional partnerships, biodiversity monitoring programs, and environmental databases compiled over more than two decades. The dataset was assembled to support analyses of the spatial distribution of Carnivora across the transition zone between the Amazon, Cerrado, and Caatinga biomes. The data include taxonomic identification at the family level and the corresponding geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) for each occurrence record.
