CONTEMPORARY PSYCHOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO PROTECTING YOUNG PEOPLE FROM CYBERBULLYING THREATS

This article analyzes modern psychological approaches to protecting young people from the threat of cyberbullying. As digital technologies and social media have become increasingly widespread, cyberbullying has emerged as a significant problem that negatively affects the mental health, social adaptation, and personal development of young people. The study examines the psychological characteristics of cyberbullying, its underlying causes, and its impact on the psyche of young individuals based on scientific literature. Furthermore, the role of resilience, emotional intelligence, communicative competence, media literacy, and psychological coping strategies in preventing and overcoming cyberbullying is analyzed. The article also presents modern psychological technologies and practical recommendations aimed at improving the effectiveness of preventive and corrective interventions. The findings of the study contribute to the enhancement of scientific and practical activities focused on protecting young people from psychological risks in the digital environment.
