Genome annotations of Bipolaris and related Pleosporaceae species for comparative genomics.

This dataset provides comprehensive genome annotation data for multiple strains of Bipolaris species and other related fungi within the Pleosporaceae family. The annotated genomes include strains of Bipolaris oryzae (syn. Cochliobolus miyabeanus), along with additional Bipolaris species and representative taxa from Pleosporaceae, which are known for their roles as plant pathogens and producers of diverse secondary metabolites.Annotations were generated using the BRAKER3 pipeline with proteome-guided gene prediction, and were functionally characterized through OmicsBox.
