Scirrous hepatocellular carcinoma is a rare type of liver tumor that is charecterized by fibrous stroma, biliary differentiation of tumor cells, and poorer prognosis. In this study, we aim to analyze the efefcts of collagen 1 on signal tranduction pathway activation, gene expression profile, and phenotypic changes of hepatocellular carcinoma. Overall design: HepG2 and Huh7 cells were grown on uncoated and collagen 1-coated plates for 2 days. RNA was extracted and the gene expression profiles are analyzed using RNA sequencing
