Odense Students and Paid Work, 1979

The survey attempts to elucidate the extent of paid work undertaken by students at Odense University as well as the consequences of this as regards studying. 674 persons were chosen by random sample from Odense University's register of students matriculated. These persons were all sent a 15-page, self-administered, structured questionnaire containing questions about such issues as: #1) field of study (subject) and study activity, #2) the extent of and the necessity of doing paid work during student years, #3) the nature of the student's paid work. #In addition, the survey filed includes information about the socio-economic situation of the student (e.g. housing conditions, information about property and income, etc.)
