HiC sequencing data of chicken breast muscle

The breast muscle of Chinese indigenous Lushi chicken (LS) has lower breast muscle fiber diameter but has conspicuously superior intramuscular fat deposition, compared to fast-growing broiler, Arbor Acres broiler (AA). We performed HiC sequencing of breast muscles from AA broiler and LS chicken to comprehensively determine the genome-wide chromatin interaction, A/B compartment switch, TAD distribution, predict potential genes and signaling pathways, and thereby unveil regulation mechanisms underlying skeletal muscle development and IMF deposition at chromosome scale.
