59 Border Collie Affymetrix Axiom Canine HD Array, comprising 50 working line and 9 conformation line

Samples used in the study consisted of 59 Border Collie dogs, including 50 from the working line (BORDW) and 9 from the conformation line (BORDC), and their genotypes were generated using the Affymetrix Axiom Canine HD Array (670K SNPs).

The BORDW group comprises dogs formally registered with the American Border Collie Association, which focuses on verifying pedigrees for working-bred border collies. In contrast, the BORDC group includes dogs that have achieved conformation titles in national-level AKC-sponsored competitions, highlighting their physical attributes over working abilities.
