Mosquito host barriers driving vector specificity for arbovirus transmission (Arbovec2).

Study to analyse Insect Specific Viruses (ISV) expression in Anopheles 4a3A, 4a3B and Sua4.0 cells. In nature, Anopheles are able to transmit only the alphavirus ONNV when Aedes mosquitoes are the main vector of numerous arboviruses with important public health concerns (ZIKV, CHIKV, YFV, DENV). As ISV can interfere with viral replication, it is critical to obtain an inventory of ISV expression when performing viral infection experiments.
