Global Vaginal Microbial Genomes(GVMG) -- Genomic landscape in the human vaginal microbiome links to host geographics and genetics

Here we established an extensive catalog of global vaginal microbial genomes (GVMG) by integrating 10,665 in-house Chinese metagenomes with 2,967 publicly available metagenomes and 1,433 bacterial isolates. This catalog includes 890 prokaryotic species (36,059 genomes), 11 fungal species (43 genomes) and 6,577 species-level viral operational taxonomic units (vOTUs) (28,953 genomes).
