资源简介:
The technological problem concerns the contamination of modern baths used to produce trivalent chromium-based conversion coatings (TCC coatings). Progressive contamination of such baths leads to a deterioration in the quality of the coated parts and a decrease in corrosion resistance. Ultimately, this necessitates the replacement of the entire process bath. The basic research collected in this collection was devoted to understanding the effect of ionic impurities present in the galvanic bath on the process of producing Cr(III)-based conversion coatings on electrogalvanized steel. The authors examined how these impurities shape the structure of the conversion coatings, their morphology, chemical composition, and corrosion resistance. The research techniques used included SEM, TEM, EDXS, SAED, and DC polarization. The collection contains four folders, and detailed file descriptions are included in the "readme" file: Results of dc polarization measurements SEM ionic contamination in TCC bathTEM Cr(III)TEM Cr(III)+Zn+Fe
