Q20+ Nanopore sequencing of air samples for cattle housing recovers high quality complete genomes of two Gemykibivirus species

The objective of the current study was to characterise temporal trends in the air microbiome (bacteria, fungi and viruses) in two calf housing environments (Shed and Polytunnel) during the pre-weaning phase. There were 9 air samples (week 1-6 in shed and week 7-9 in polytunnel) which was obtained by ACD cub sampler (flow rate: 50L/min for 24 hours). In barcodes 4 and 9 we obtained reads that reference to Gemykibivirus anima1 and Gemykibivirus bovas1 respectively.
