<p>This includes transmission electron microscopy data for in situ heating experiments for pentlandite mineral. Included in the dataset are the required raw data products relevant to the publication figures:</p>
<ul>
<li>TIFF images, including bright-field, dark-field, and secondary electron images of the samples before and after heating. Descriptions of imaging mode and magnification are in the file titles, and calibrated scale bars are present on all images.</li>
<li>TXT and CSV&nbsp;files showing quantitative EDX line profiles extracted from samples that are indicated in publication figures.</li>
<li>TIFF files showing EDX maps indicating elemental distributions.</li>
<li>TIFF files showing EDX chemical data overlying electron microscopy images.</li>
