This study aimed to determine if a particular IBD-associated PRDM1 SNP (rs6911490) could be implicated in regulating human CD4+ T cell responses and ultimately IBD pathogenesis. Overall design: Whole genome transcriptome analysis in stimulated CD4+ TE/M cells to compare the transcriptome change between UC patients carrying or lacking the rs6611490 risk allele.
