Alcohol and other drug consumption among women, ACT, 1989

The purpose of this study was to ascertain the level of knowledge amongst women in the ACT on safe levels of drinking and other drug consumption as well as gathering data on current levels of drug and alcohol consumption in the sample population. Variables include: type of exposure to safe drug level information; age; marital status; employment status; highest education level reached; country of birth; length of time in the ACT and in Australia; number of children; perceived knowledge of safe levels of drug and alcohol consumption; amount of alcohol consumed, place and time of alcohol consumption, persons present when alcohol was consumed, for each of the past seven days; amount of Benzodiazepines, marijuana and amphetamines and Speed used in the past week, month and year.
