PSOROPTOSIS IN CATTLE
收藏官方服务:
资源简介:
Bovine psoroptosis is a chronic parasitic disease caused by P. bovis, primarily affecting the skin of animals. The disease is characterized by itching, skin inflammation, hair loss, and weight loss. Young animals exhibit growth retardation, while adult animals show decreased productivity. The disease most commonly spreads during the winter season, when poor housing and feeding conditions contribute to its development. Clinical signs initially appear as itching, followed by skin thickening and crust formation. Diagnosis is confirmed by detecting parasites in skin scrapings. Sulfur-based preparations and modern antiparasitic drugs are highly effective in treatment.
