资源简介:
Eutrophication caused by excessive nitrogen emissions is an important environmental problem in today's world. Ammonia nitrogen (NH4+) has become the first pollutant in natural and artificial water bodies.According to statistics, the total nitrogen (TN) emissions in the country are as high as 3.167 million tons, of which NH4+ emissions are 868,000 tons, accounting for 27.4% of TN emissions, including industrial wastewater, agricultural wastewater and domestic wastewater.Anaerobic ammonium ferric oxidation (Feammox) can use Fe(III) as an electron acceptor to oxidize ammonium to hypervalent nitrogen under anaerobic conditions. Feammox is a novel nitrogen removal pathway mediated by iron reducing bacteria (FeRB) under reduction conditions. However, due to the slow reaction rate and harsh reaction conditions, its wide application in wastewater treatment is limited. In the microbial driven NO3-/ NO2-dependent Fe(II) oxidation process (NDFO), NO3- can be reduced by Fe(II) to NH4+ under abiotic conditions, and the NH4+ produced in this process can participate in a new round of Feammox with Fe(III) as a reactant.
