Pixel-by-pixel fits of the cosmic-ray electron and proton distributions to the gamma-ray emission of the Fermi Bubbles
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the best fit parameters for the cosmic-ray proton and electron distributions considered in our paper. The file names are of the form XXX_fit_YYY.npy, where XXX indicates whether the fits are for the proton or electron model, and YYY is either BPL or EPL to indicate if the model is a broken power-law (BPL) or exponentiall truncated power-law (EPL). The file lat_lon.npy contains the Galactic latitude and longitude of the center of each pixel. The best fit parameters are contained in numpy arrays of size (p,n), where 'p' is the number of pixels and 'n' is the number of free parameters of the model. The ordering of the free parameters is as follows: - BPL model: 1 = amplitude, 2 = break energy, 3 = power-law index before the break energy, 4 = power-law index after the break energy - EPL model: 1 = amplitude, 2 = power-law index, 3 = cut-off energy The (latitude, longitude) of each pixel is provided in a numpy array of size (p,2).
