Development of a Hip Function Assessment Item Pool for THA Patients

Senior experts from different professional fields will be invited for consultation. Questionnaires will be distributed to the experts anonymously to collect their opinions and suggestions on the design of the preliminary conceptual model. (Experts’ opinions should remain anonymous to reduce the influence of authority and group pressure.) The experts’ feedback and suggestions will be summarized and analyzed to identify points of consensus and disagreement, and the conceptual model will be preliminarily revised based on the experts’ input.
On the basis of the first round, a second-round questionnaire will be designed, including evaluations of the preliminarily revised conceptual model and further discussions on points of disagreement. This will also be conducted anonymously, and experts will provide feedback again based on the new questionnaire content. The process will be repeated until expert opinions tend to converge or reach a predetermined level of satisfaction. The researchers will determine the final version of the conceptual model based on the feedback from the last round.
