BA Cave is a small rockshelter located in the Bighorn Mountains containing a well-dated
stratigraphic record covering the past 4000 years. Nine stratigraphic units were sampled and
analyzed for pollen. It was hoped that the pollen record would illuminate differences in the source
of the sediments in the strata and assist in interpreting the genetic origins of the sediments.
