SynthForge

SynthForge is a high-quality facial dataset developed collaboratively by institutions including Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, synthesized using controllable 3D generative models. This dataset generates high-fidelity images via a 3D-aware synthetic data pipeline and is accompanied by dense multi-task spatial annotations, making it suitable for facial analysis tasks such as semantic segmentation, depth estimation and keypoint estimation. During the dataset's creation, the Next3D and FLAME models were utilized to generate images and annotations, ensuring high data quality and diversity. SynthForge has a wide range of application scenarios, aiming to solve complex problems in facial analysis and provides an efficient, scalable and cost-effective data solution.
