Chirality of malaria parasites determines their motion patterns [data]

<p>This is a data repository for the publication <em>"Chirality of malaria parasites determines their motion patterns"</em>. It includes example data for the different experimental setups, which can be used to run the analysis code. The code is available in the git repository <a href="https://github.com/LeonLettermann/hei-sporo-code">github.com/LeonLettermann/hei-sporo-code</a> and therein linked repositories.</p>

<p>We present data for three different experiments here:</p>
<ol>
<li>3D microscopy of sporozoites moving through hydrogels</li>
<li>Two-sided traction force of circling sporozoites</li>
<li>STED super-resolution microscopy of sporozoites underneath a hydrogel</li>
</ol>

<p>For experiments 1 and 2, the data are presented as <code>.mvd2</code> microscopy raw data, which can be opened and analyzed with the provided Python code. For experiment 3, we present a deconvoluted image as a <code>.tif</code> file. Additionally, different intermediate analysis results supporting experimentation with the provided code are available as <code>.npy</code> files.</p>
