Data set for Economic evaluation of Leptospirosis in 14 Latin American countries <br>Leptospirosis cases for 2015 for 14 Latin American countries released to the Pan American Health Organization by the countries’ health authorities. Data also collected from the country’s Ministry of Health websites when available and through ad-hoc questionnaires sent to the countries' Ministries of Health.<br>Value of Statistical Life estimates derived for the countries. Economic burden of Leptospirosis calculated as percentage of health expenditure for each country - data sources included in the file.<br>DALYs caused by Leptospirosis calculated for Brazil for 2015 based on information from Brazilian Ministry of Health websites.<br>Direct and indirect costs for Leptospirosis for Brazil calculated based on data in Brazil MOH websites - data sources included in the file.<br>
