资源简介:

This is the dataset of the multitaxonomic sampling conducted from 9th to 12th July 2024 within the “Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga” National Park. Sampling design Sampling units Prati di Tivo - PR (5 sampling units): habitat 9210* Venaquaro - VE (7 sampling units): habitat 9210* Incodaro - IN (7 sampling units): habitat 9220* Sampled taxa tree layer shrub layer herbaceous layer Vascular plants Epiphytic lichens Saproxylic fungi Standing trees structure Lying deadwood structure File structure Files: data are provided both as a single Excel file (.xlsx) with 8 sheets, and as separate CSV files (comma delimited): GS_2024_trees GS_2024_shrubs GS_2024_herbs GS_2024_fungi GS_2024_lichens GS_2024_structure GS_2024_deadwood GS_2024_metadata The sheets GS_2024_trees; GS_2024_shrubs; GS_2024_herbs; GS_2024_fungi; GS_2024_lichens are structured in wide format, with the first column (plotID) identifying the sampling unit, the following column species, and rows for sampling units. The sheets GS_2024_structure and GS_2024_deadwood are structured in long format, with a row for each observation. Values of 0 indicate that the species was not found within the sampling unit. The species names follow the Latin binomial nomenclature. Sheets GS_2024_trees Tree plants species within the sampling units8 columns, 20 rowsThe species columns report the quantitative value measured in the sampling unit as cover (0–100) GS_2024_shrubs Shrub plants species within the sampling units9 columns, 20 rowsThe species columns report the quantitative value measured in the sampling unit as cover (0–100) GS_2024_herbs Herbaceous plants species within the sampling units192 columns, 20 rowsThe species columns report the quantitative value measured in the sampling unit as cover (0–100) GS_2024_fungi Saproxylic fungi species within the sampling units47 columns, 20 rowsThe species columns report the quantitative value measured in the sampling unit as number of individuals recorded GS_2024_lichens Epiphytic lichens species within the sampling units50 columns, 20 rowsThe species columns report the quantitative value measured in the sampling unit as frequency of occurrence (0–60) GS_2024_structure Tree structure within the sampling units8 columns, 985 rowsColumns: plotID Unique ID linked to the sampling unit, type: characterExample values: IN1 PR2 treeID Unique tree ID in the plot, type: numeric treesp Tree species following Latin binomial nomenclature, type: characterExample values: Fagus sylvatica Abies alba treedb Diameter at breast height, type: numericmeasured in centimeters treeht Total tree height, type: numericmeasured in meters vitality Tree vitality condition, type: characterPossible values: alive Completely alive and healthy trees alive with senescent parts Alive trees with dead portions dead Dead trees origin Probable origin of the tree, type: characterPossible values: seed Trees originated by germination, with isolated trunks, markedly vertical sucker Trees originated by regrowth from a cutted stump, with trunks growing aggregate standard Trees originated by emancipation of a sucker, with trunks growing isolated dominance Crown position in relation to the whole canopy, type: characterPossible values: dominant Crown positioned above the crowns of adjacent trees co-dominant Crown positioned at the same level of the crowns of adjacent trees intermediate Crown positioned mainly under the crowns of dominant and/or co-dominant trees suppressed Crown completely below the crowns of adjacent trees GS_2024_deadwood Lying deadwood features within the sampling units8 columns, 346 rowsColumns: plotID Unique ID linked to the sampling unit, type: characterExample values: IN1 PR2 treeID Unique lying deadwood element ID in the plot, type: numeric type Type of deadwood element, type: character log Every element like: branches, fallen dead trees, woody and not rooted parts on the ground with a length ≥ 10 cm stump Rooted base of a dead tree, shorter than 1.30 m diam1 Midpoint diameter for logs, bottom diameter for stumps, type: numericmeasured in centimeters diam2 Top diameter only for stumps, type: numericmeasured in centimetersavailable only for stumps length Length of the log components, type: numericmeasured in centimetersavailable only for logs height Height from the ground of the stump components, type: numericmeasured in centimetersavailable only for stumps decay Decay class following standard protocols (Hunter, 1990), type: numeric from 1 to 5
