WGBS of Shuijing grapevine

Shuijing grape is a deciduous vine fruit tree, and the low-temperature period during winter is required for its sprouting. Cyanamide treatment led to reduced DNA methylation levels of latent buds of Shuijing grapevine. The corresponding methylation features facilitate the understanding of the molecular mechanisms of Shuijing grapevine, relieves dormancy and promotes bud differentiation. This study therefore provides epigenetic references for understanding the underlying mechanisms of release of fruit tree dormancy.
