Effects of Organic and Inorganic Nutrient Sources on Soil Chemical Properties and Maize Yield in Acidic Nitisols

This dataset contains results from a two-year field experiment conducted to evaluate the effects of organic and inorganic nutrient sources on soil chemical properties and maize (Zea mays L.) yield in acidic Nitisols. The experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three factors:

Organic amendments – three levels (e.g., 0, low, high rates of vermicompost and/or biochar)

Inorganic fertilizers – three levels (e.g., 0%, 50%, 100% of recommended NPSB or urea/N-P fertilizer)

Replications – three blocks
