This dataset is based on 2016 New York City yellow taxi trip record data, which is available via BigQuery on Google Cloud Platform. This data was originally released by the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC). For the purpose of this sports meet competition, the dataset was sampled and cleaned. Based on the attributes of each individual trip, participants are required to predict the duration of every trip in the test set.
