Population density data of ghost crab (Ocypode gaudichaudii) in sandy beaches of Manabí Province, Ecuador

The data correspond to a population density study of the ghost crab (Ocypode gaudichaudii), carried out on "Los Ranchos" and "Las Bocas" beaches, Manabí Province, Ecuador. There are three datasets of data corresponding to three types of sampling: i) quadrants; ii) distances; iii) visual census. In all the cases, the object of study was the burrows, assuming that each of them had a single individual.
