Supplementary materials for the paper "A Preliminary Search for Evidence on Government Software Engineering Practices: Results from Three Rapid Reviews"

This document provides the supplementary materials for our study, “A Preliminary Search for Evidence on Government Software Engineering Practices: Results from Three Rapid Reviews” The study examines the scarcity of peer-reviewed evidence about software engineering (SE) practices within government bodies, a potential barrier for agencies interested in adopting Evidence-Based Software Engineering (EBSE) to strengthen research and policy-making. To assess the state of the evidence base, we conducted three rapid reviews of 2024 publications: one targeting top-tier SE venues, one focusing on regional iberoamerican SE venues, and one screening a newsletter that curates research on government digitalization. The material provides the list of the screened studies, grouped by source. The selected studies are presented in the paper.
