Abstract: Due to spatial heterogeneity and temporal non-stationarity, urban expansion models are often only applicable locally. This paper proposes a similarity law-based method for transferability of urban expansion model. The method utilizes the geographically optimal similarity (GOS) model to realize the transfer of the transition rules based on the similarity of geographical configurations. The model is applied to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region for empirical analysis, the results show that (1) The proposed method can better capture the shift of urban expansion strategies during validation period. The figure of merit (FoM) of results using the local transition rules is on average 0.010 higher and the fuzzy similarity of different (FSD) is on average 0.025 higher than those using the transition rules transfer from Beijing in calibration period, but in validation period the FoM is on average 0.018 lower and the FSD is on average 0.033 lower. (2) The similarity of urban expansion strategies varies among different cities, selecting appropriate cities for the transfer of transition rule can make the results of proposed method perform better. For example, during validation period, in Shijiazhuang, the transition rule transferred from Beijing is preferable to that transferred from Xingtai, while in Handan and Hengshui, it is opposite.

摘要:鉴于空间异质性与时间非平稳性,城市扩张模型往往仅适用于局域场景。本文提出一种基于相似性规律的城市扩张模型可迁移性方法。该方法借助地理最优相似性(geographically optimal similarity, GOS)模型,依托地理配置的相似性实现转换规则的迁移。将该模型应用于京津冀地区开展实证分析,结果表明:(1)所提方法可更好地捕捉验证期内城市扩张策略的转变趋势。相较于校准期内采用北京迁移转换规则所得的结果,采用局部转换规则的结果其品质因数(figure of merit, FoM)平均高出0.010,异类模糊相似度(fuzzy similarity of different, FSD)平均高出0.025;但在验证期内,该类结果的FoM较基于北京迁移的转换规则结果平均低0.018,FSD平均低0.033。(2)不同城市的城市扩张策略相似度存在显著差异,选取适配的城市开展转换规则迁移,可进一步优化所提方法的应用效果。例如在验证期内,石家庄采用基于北京迁移的转换规则要优于基于邢台迁移的转换规则,而邯郸与衡水则恰好相反。
