Two novel sulfur-oxidizing bacteria, designated strains SulA and SulB, were isolated from the chemocline of a meromictic brackish lake, Lake Harutori (Japan). Here, we provide the complete genome sequences of both strains based on hybrid assembly of short- and long-read DNA sequence data.
