Transcriptome of immune tissues of landrace pig

The immune system of an organism is the source of disease resistance in livestock, consisting of various immune tissues. However, comprehensive systematic studies on porcine immune tissues are still rare.This study determined the transcriptome of six major immune tissues in Landrace pigs (intestines, peripheral blood, spleen, thymus, lymph nodes, and bone marrow) in order to elucidate the core transcriptional program of pig immune tissues and identify core immune genes.At the same time, the study also collected PBMC transcriptome data from three different periods to explore the immunodynamics of early PBMC development.Finally, the transcriptional differences of PBMC between Landrace and local breed Songliao black pig were compared.
