Analysis of mRNA abundance in the wild-type or Phd2 knockout carotid body and adrenal medulla of mice

The mRNA abundance in the wild-type or Phd2 knockout carotid body and adrenal medulla of mice was analysed by RNA-Seq. For this purpose, mice with tyrosine hydroxylase-restricted inactivation of Phd2 were generated. For the preparation of a single RNA-Seq library, RNA from 10 carotid bodies or adrenal medullas from 5 mice was pooled.本研究采用RNA测序（RNA-Seq）分析野生型或Phd2基因敲除小鼠的颈动脉体与肾上腺髓质的mRNA丰度。为此，我们构建了酪氨酸羟化酶限制性失活Phd2的小鼠模型。在制备单个RNA测序文库时，将5只小鼠的10个颈动脉体或肾上腺髓质的RNA进行混合。
