A CD57+ CD8 T Cell Subset Links Cytotoxic T Cell Function to Fibrotic Lung Disease in Systemic Sclerosis

This data submission is of bulk RNA sequencing of T cells from 5 systemic sclerosis patients with interstitial lung disease (SSc-ILD). We performed bulk RNA sequencing of naive, CD57- effector memory T cells (TEM), CD57+ TEM, and terminally differentiated effector memory (TEMRA) CD8 T cells populations sorted by flow cytometry from blood. This study implicates a CD57+ cytotoxic CD8 T cell population as a potential mediator of lung injury in SSc-ILD. ]]>
