资源简介：
LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA: Isaac Regional Council
LOCATION: Approximately 13 kilometres north of Clermont, Central Queensland (see Map KRA 126)
EXTRACTIVE RESOURCE: Quarry Rock
EXTRACTIVE RESOURCE DESCRIPTION: The resource consists of basalt suitable for a variety of products including concrete and asphalt aggregate, ballast and road base.
SIGNIFICANCE: The resource is large enough to supply Clermont and surrounding areas for a number of years. Due to the scarcity of natural construction material of this type in the region and its location close to major infrastructure projects the Apsley Key Resource Area meets the criteria for State significance.
SEPARATION AREA: A maximum separation distance of 1000 metres has been applied around the resource/processing area boundary as blasting is likely to be required to access the resource. The surrounding land is zoned Rural.
TRANSPORT ROUTE: The material can be transported directly to the Gregory Highway.
