New Horizons Pluto Energetic Particle Spectrometer Science Investigation (PEPSSI) Jupiter Encounter Calibrated Data

This data set contains Calibrated data taken by the New Horizons Pluto Energetic Particle Spectrometer Science Investigation (PEPSSI) instrument during the Jupiter encounter mission phase. There are PEPSSI data in the Jupiter phase from 2007 January 6 (day 6) to 2007 June 27 (day 178). This period can be separated into three sub-intervals: upstream from January 6 (day 6) to February 19 (day 50); encounter from February 19 (day 50) to March 9 (day 68); tail from March 9 (day 68) to ~June 27 (day 178). The divisions are arbitrary, but provide a coarse characterization of the data taken during this phase. This period does include some tests designed to investigate the instrument's performance under high-rate conditions, but is dominated by data intended for scientific study of Jupiter's magnetosphere, deep magnetotail, and upstream regions.
