Whole genome sequencing of the Trinorchestia longiramus

The sand-hopper Trinorchestia longiramus is a crustacean amphipod often found in the sandy beaches of South Korea. This talitrid species is considered as an important trophic link between primary producers and higher consumers and helps in the energy flow within these ecosystems. In this study, we present the first draft genome of T. longiramus in order to better understand this ecologically important species.
