Trade openness and agricultural growth variables

The data is an analysis of the impact of trade openness on agricultural growth in South Africa. The data used in this study was obtained and stored in Excel format from the World bank and from Food and Agricultural organisation (Trade openness, Inflation and FDI). The dependent variable used in the study is agricultural growth and the independent variable is trade openness, among other variables such as the control of corruption, employment, foreign direct investment and inflation. The study uses annual data over the 1996–2020, 25-year period. This period was based upon data availability and study context. The reservation period will last for a maximum of 10 years following the completion of the research. Following the study, the data was saved in both Excel and e-views formats due to the utilisation of the software for the analysis.
